Adults-Only Event Overview
As it is every year, the Adults-Only event is headlined by The Spazmatics.

Please plan on arriving no later than 7:30 PM for introductory remarks by Alex Gabbi.

In addition to our long-standing attractions such as the Colosseum (gladiator fights), Circus Maximus (chariot racing), and the Forum (auction), Ancient Rome will also feature the return of last year's new attractions for the Adults-Only Party including:

- Vesuvius, Austin's first and only active volcano.

- The aqueduct bar

- "Nobility-Class" Ticketing - distinguish yourself from regular Roman citizens at the party with preferential treatment, recognition, and access to unique raffle items. Hail Caesar indeed!

THIS IS A ROMAN-THEMED PARTY!!! IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU COME IN COSTUME, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE THE ONLY SILLY PERSON DRESSED IN REGULAR STREET CLOTHES.

Adults-Only Event - Parking
Please note that parking is only available on the RIGHT side of the street on Far View Drive. Both sides of Glenlake Drive may be used. This is essential to allow for passage of the shuttle bus that will transport you to and from your car.

For your convenience, a complimentary shuttle bus will operate from 7:00-11:30 PM to transfer you to and from your car. Just hail the bus when you see it - maximum wait time will be <5 minutes.

Violators of this parking policy WILL BE TOWED!

Family Event Overview
The Family Event will have fun for kids of all ages. All of the favorites from years past will be returning this year, including gladiator fights, chariot racing, slip and sliding, cotton candy, popcorn, dance floor with deejay, snow cones, aqueduct soda bar and much much more.

Due to the number of wet activities, it is highly recommended you either come in a bathing suit or bring a change of clothes.

Please note that the Family Event will end promptly at 5:00 PM to allow for cut-over to the Adults-Only Event.

The first annual Celebration of Life was held in May, 2011 to celebrate Heather's first and only very short-lived remission from ovarian cancer. She fought her cancer relentlessly from the day of her diagnosis during the c-section for Luca until the day she died on July 4, 2013.

Notwithstanding her being on chemotherapy virtually continuously for over 3 years, Heather never for one minute stopped living and loving life. She left any room she entered happier than when she arrived. More people than I can count have come to me to tell me how Heather changed their lives. Over anything else, Heather incited people to action. Whether it was squeezing that one extra activity into the day or embarking on the greatest travel adventure of a lifetime, Heather had a way of pushing people to live life a little more fully, laugh a little harder, and kindle the desire to discover all the great things the world has to offer. Sadly, Heather only got to experience one Celebration of Life event. After the 2011 inaugural event, we were unable to host subsequent events until after her passing.

This year marks the fifth annual Celebration of Life. As with every year before, it honors Heather's memory by bringing together many of the things she found so important: laughter, kids, lending a helping hand, having fun, travel, and squeezing every last drop out of life!

Thank you for honoring the memory of a remarkable woman, mother and wife. And thank you through your generosity in helping support Wonders & Worries, the fantastic organization that has been instrumental in helping our three children overcome the adversity of losing their mother at such a young age. I look forward to welcoming you to the next Celebration of Life!
